Ku-Yaw Chang (張顧耀) received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, in 2002. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Engineering at National Chin-Yi University of Technology, Taiwan. He also serves as the Division Head of Networking and System Services at the Computer Center, where he oversees the development and management of advanced computing infrastructure and information systems.
Dr. Chang’s research focuses on Object-Oriented Technology, Natural User Interfaces, Large Language Models, and Multimodal Artificial Intelligence. His work aims to advance intelligent human–computer interaction and next-generation AI systems, with an emphasis on integrating multimodal data and developing practical, real-world applications.
